I'm
I'm a Canadian startup and tech enthusiast known as a super-connector and community builder, driven by a passion for meaningful execution. My journey through the innovation ecosystem has spanned a range of roles and initiatives.
Currently, I serve as a semi-regular contributor to BetaKit, Canada's leading innovation publication, and as a partner at Dorm Room Fund, where I help identify and support promising student entrepreneurs.
Previously, I was employee No. 21 at CheckSammy, where I built the company's waste audit program and developed customized sustainability solutions for enterprise clients. I also founded McGill Ventures, McGill University's premier innovation community, dedicated to fostering the next generation of entrepreneurs.
Looking ahead, I'm focused on deepening my expertise in investing and operations, while continuing to build bridges across Canada's tech ecosystem.
As a journalist at BetaKit, I cover the latest developments in Canada's startup ecosystem, venture capital, and technology innovation. My work focuses on bringing you in-depth analysis and breaking news from the Canadian tech scene.
I helped manage DRF's blog during my time at Dorm Room Fund. Here are a few selected posts:
Founded and led McGill University's premier innovation community, now the second most followed business club at McGill. We've established strong partnerships with leading Canadian VC firms and created a thriving ecosystem for student entrepreneurs.
A thriving community of startup enthusiasts and founders, featuring regular talks from industry leaders who have played the startup game at the highest level.
